The History of the NHA Club
The Neuchâtel Hockey Academy (NHA ), nicknamed Les Hirondelles du Littoral, was founded in 1999 by Céline Guerne. It is a women's ice hockey club based in Neuchâtel. Since 2011, the first team has been playing in the PostFinance Women's League , the highest division of women's hockey in Switzerland. 🌟🥅
The club stands out for its multi-team structure, offering opportunities to players of different levels:
Team in the Post Finance Women's League : It represents the elite of the club and participates in the top national championship.
SWHL C Team : This training allows intermediate level players to flourish and progress in a competitive environment.
SWHL D team : Open to new players, those discovering the game or those wishing to play hockey in a more friendly setting.
In addition to these teams, the NHA is also keen to create a dedicated U12 team. This initiative aims to introduce ice hockey to young players, thus ensuring the future and sustainability of women's hockey in the region.
